The Philippines continue to face travel warnings from other countries.
This is presumably in light of the robbery turned shooting incident where a 51 year old British woman was robbed in a taxi on her way to Burgos, Makati. When the woman resisted, she was shot in the face.
The latest advisory advises foreigners in the Philippines to only use taxis from reputable organizations. The advisory warned their citizens or taxi drivers and their accomplices robbing and harming passengers.
